The major powertrain and chassis components are unchanged from last year:

Chassis Honda CBR1000RR - 2006
Motor controller Tritium WaveSculptor 200
Motor Enstroj Emrax 228HV
Battery cells Advanced Electronic Energy (AEE) 40 Ah packaged prismatic

In 2014, a complete redesign of the battery pack was undertaken. The result is a chassis with more than 10ยบ extra lean angle, weighing about 30 lb. (14 kg) less.

A completely new datalogging and drive control system was also designed from the ground up for this year's vehicle. RW-2.X constantly records over 100 unique sensor measurements, including battery cell voltages, temperature measurements, aerodynamic pressures, and more.
